Amanda Flores Beauty Director
Amanda Flores is the beauty director at Latina. As a self-proclaimed beauty junkie, there isn’t a product that comes into her office that she doesn’t road test. Her love of everything beauty started at a young age when her mother started selling Mary Kay cosmetics and Amanda couldn’t resist breaking into the pink boxes to swipe on the latest shade of lipstick or shadow.
Before starting at Latina, Amanda worked in the beauty departments at Family Circle, Woman’s World and—the place where her love of beauty journalism began—Redbook, where she worked as an intern while studying at NYU.

The perfect addition to any outfit is an accessory that really makes a statement. This season, from makeup palettes to necklaces, the best pieces are the ones that scream "touch me!" Check out the ones we’re coveting for fall:
Getting inked isn’t for everyone. Not that we don’t love the work of tattoo artists like Kat Von D, but the whole permanent part can be scary. Lucky for us commitment-phobes, we have Flash Tattoos: temporary tats that go on just like the ones we had as kids that go on with water). They’re super-shiny, metallic and from a distance, they look like jewelry. Here’s how to wear some of our faves!
With thousands of new products launching each year, it's hard to choose the best. No worries! We've smeared, lathered, applied and puckered up to find the ones that will be a hit with even the most beauty-savvy Latinas. Here are the 2014 Latina Beauty Awards:
