While with Latina, Valadez interviewed her favorite group, One Direction, resulting in her story being picked up by Perez Hilton, Hollywood Life, and Cambio, among others. Valadez graduated with a B.A. in Communications from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. Prior to Latina, Valadez was also a correspondent for various Hispanic media outlets and was selected by the NCLR as the innagural correspondent for the 2012 ALMA Awards. In her down time, Valadez tweets about her faith in God, reads celebrity news, eats cupcakes and catches up on shows such as Pretty Little Liars, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Once Upon a Time.

Last night’s The Voice eliminations may have put an end to team Shakira, as her remaining contestant Sasha Allen was eliminated. This leaves two of Team Blake and one of Team Usher to battle it out in next week’s season finale.
But of course, Shakira herself remained strong. With an already proven successful career, she’ll continue to spend the next few years dedicated to her family, and the millions of fans who support her everyday.
Nothing radiated The Voice’s red carpet more than a stunning Shakira dressed in a golden-green metallic dress, her hair straightened to accentuate her beautiful, contagious smile.
