Ouww! Jennifer Lopez was Queen of the Red Carpet (per usual!) at the 2017 People's Choice Awards on Wednesday.

The Shades of Blue star, who took home the PCA for Favorite TV Crime Drama Actress, arrived looking simply glamorous wearing a bedazzling, form-fitting black Reem Acra dress. And of course, her beauty game didn't lag far behind in perfection. Lopez donned a sleek ponytail and made everyone jealous with her natural bronze makeup look. We went straight to the pros about that one, getting the scoop directly from her stellar makeup artist Mary Phillips.

“Jennifer’s black Reem Acra dress... ummmm! WOW! That’s what I thought when I first saw it," she said. "The fit is show stopping and the crystal accents above the waist (in all the right places) inspired me to go a little bit more in the direction of a sun-kissed, St Tropez goddess, with high sheen. Dramatic, but in the best way possible, and still very soft. When her hair’s pulled back like this, which isn’t very often, it always makes it a bit more of a makeup moment!"

We were dying to know how Mary achieved this look for Ms. Lopez — see below for what went into it:

To prep Jennifer’s skin, Mary started with L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Triple Power Intensive Skin Revitalizer and applied all over. She let the product sit for about 10 minutes before applying the next skin product — L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Moisture Blur, which acts as a moisturizer and primer. To finish the skin prep, she applied Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment to Jennifer’s orbital bone and under-eye area.

Next, Mary used L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation in Natural Tan, Perfect Beige and Nude Beige. She chose to mix the three shades to create a natural, 3-D effect. She then took L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation in Golden Beige to give Jennifer’s skin some contrast. This foundation lasts all day and is so matte, powder is not needed.

For concealer, Mary applied Lancôme Effacernes Waterproof Protective Concealer to Jennifer’s under eye, down to her cheek area, on the outside of the bridge of the nose, and outside the mouth and along the cupid’s bow.

Next, for contour, Mary used the L’Oréal Paris Infallible Pro-Contour Kit in Medium. Utilizing the brush and various shades in the palette, she applied the darker shades along Jennifer’s jawline, underneath the cheekbones, on the temple and hairline and along the nose. She then used the lighter shade on the center of the forehead, nose, directly above the jawline, and underneath the brow bone.

For blush, Mary used L’Oréal Paris True Match Blushes in Tender Rose and Innocent Flush. Mary chose to use a cooler rose and peachy warm blush to add some dimension and contrast. She then used Giorgio Armani Prima Glow Moisturizing Balm to highlight.

For Jennifer’s eyes, Mary used the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude eyeshadow palette. Mary utilized a variety of the shades within the palette, mixing the matte and shimmery finishes.

She then lined Jennifer’s eyes with L’Oréal Paris Infallible Black Velvet Liner on the top and bottom lids, as well as the inner rims. Mary also used L’Oréal Paris Infallible Matte Matic Liner in Black on the upper and lower lash line, really focusing on adding drama to the look and lining between the lashes.

For mascara, Mary used L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara, first applying the primer then the mascara.

On Jennifer’s brows, Mary used L’Oréal Paris Brow Stylist Designer in Blonde and Brunette. With both shades, Mary filled in Jennifer’s brows, going in the same direction of the brow hairs for a more natural appearance.

To finish the look, Mary first lined Jennifer’s lips with Lancôme Le Lipstique in Inspire. She then mixed both L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Lipcolour in Toasted Almond and Nature’s Blush, applying the darker shade to the outside of the mouth and working her way in. This custom lip color that Mary created for Jennifer gives a very full lip effect, while not being too wet or too matte at the same time.
