1. Platinum & Bold

They say blondes have more fun, well just ask Selena Gomez, chicas! The "Wolves" singer debuted her platinum lob at the American Music Awards (AMAs) along with an all-leather edgy look. Of course, we all loved it and couldn't wait to book our next color appointment. Hair guru, Nikki Lee was the mastermind behind the 25-year-old star's light locks and named the style "nirvana blonde."

2. Naturalista

Several Latinas are pulling the plug when it comes to the big chop and going natural. When women embrace their authentic self through beauty, that's when the magic begins and Covergirl spokesperson, Massy Arias is no stranger to that. "Yesterday I chopped it all off so I can be all natural. Because I am more than my hair! I want Indi to understand her heritage and relate to me. I want her to feel beautiful in her own skin," said the Dominican beauty in a social media post. She expressed how she spent years straightening her hair and putting her scalp under so much stress with mild scalp psoriasis due to perms and relaxers. Now she chooses to embrace her natural curls and empower her daughter to do the same. Talk about empowering?! Big mommy brownie points for you!

3. Flaws & All

Celebrities have insecurities just like the rest of us, and Bella Thorne is no different. In the past, the Cuban actress has been outspoken when it comes to the struggles she's faced with acne. In 2016, the redhead star opened up to InStyle about her struggle with acne and Dermatitis to the point where she wouldn't even want to leave the house. Turns out, a skincare deal was on it's way to helping her skin and empowering Thorne to tell her story with her fans. In 2017, the Famous In Love actress landed a deal with cult-cave drugstore fav Biore. She proved flaws and all, us Latinas can do it all.

4. #Hairgoals

Camila Cabello was all about her career this year and we were so here for it. As if dropping some of the summer bangers weren't enough the 20-year-old landed a deal with L’Oreal Paris. In July the hair empire announced the Havana singer as the new face of the brand. I mean, it's only right this brunette's voluminous locks are total #hairgoals for many of us. The Cuban-born star joined the L'Oreal Pair familia with fellow spokesmodels Eva Longoria, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Blake Lively and Irina Shayk.

5. Wig Queen

While Cardi B was making money moves, she kept snatching our edges with her collection of wigs. Whether it was colorful and voluminous, short and blunt, or long and icy blonde, the Bronx beauty was able to rock them all. As if making history as the first solo female rapper in 19 years to claim the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart wasn't enough, the Dominican-Trinidadian star reclaimed the beauty game with her wigs this year. Yasss Queen, keep slayin' in 2018!

6. Banggin'

Who remembers the first time they got bangs? It's a playful yet chic way to show off your style and that's just what Sofia Vergara did this year. On the Colombian actress' birthday, she decided to transform her look with bangs and kinda broke the internet. In true Instagram fashion, all of the Modern Family star's followers showered her with love and tons of emojis.

7. Pretty & Pink

Millennial pink was a major trend this year! And Mexican-American star, Salma Hayek totally pulled off a daring rose-gold chic hairstyle at the 70th Annual Cannes Film Festival. The 50-year-old star looked flawless as she graced the red-carpet and made everyone do double takes in a good way. Sadly, the silky cherry blossom hue was simply a wig for the night, but we're hoping the Frida actress will have some more fun with her beauty looks in 2018.
