Mexican Men Go From Macho to Metrosexual

Plenty of Mexican men have discovered that being a man’s man and looking well put together do not have to be mutually exclusive. Estée Lauder’s Marc Latiere’s tells WWD that Mexican sales of top beauty products for men (including Biotherm, Clinique Skin Supplies for Men, Aramis Lab Series and Clarins Men) have increased 20 to 25 percent annually over the last five years. BDF Mexico’s Diego Ferrández went on to say that Mexico is a Latin American “forerunner” in the men’s market.

Wow! We think this is a step in the right direction. We’re all for men smelling good and practicing good grooming-as long as they don’t spend more time in the bathroom than we do.

I feel that men are becoming more conscious about the beauty and looks. It is rightly so, cosmetic products are now being extensively used by men for the skin care and enhancing overall personality. I want all latino guys to look cool and smell good ! Toronto wedding photographer

I personally am a single man who doesn't mind getting dirty. Over groomed appearance however screams arrogance btw! Just as women have their beauty rituals that make them feel attractive, men should be allowed to have theirs too.

I never like metrosexual men. Man should be simple instead of busy with appearance, clothing, hair, accessories, perfumes, etc. If they are metrosexual, they must take longer than me to prepare for a date, lol..
