Get The Look: Recreate The Two-Tone OPI Nails From Cesar Galindo's Fashion Show!

This weekend, Latinista Fashion Week, founded by Dee Rivera, held a fashion-filled celebration at El Museo del Barrio to honor the works of celebrity fashion designer Cesar Galindo. The exhibition featured 20 pieces from the Mexican-American designer's runway archive.

We caught up with Galindo before his runway show, and he told us about the extraordinary significance of the honor. "I'm first generation Mexican-American, my mom and dad came here for me to be able to live my dream," Galindo told us. "Being at El Museo, I am proud to get to represent the community."

The Latino fashion designer also dished on his fashion inspirations. "I am a master draper, draping for me is like playing a game," he said. "Textiles inspire me."

Of course, the models in the show couldn't show-off his incredible pieces without an equally fabulous beauty look. "The models wore a modern two-tone manicure from OPI to complement the futuristic fusion look from the collection," he revealed.

Good news, ladies! We know exactly how you can recreate these fashion-forward nails at home. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Begin by applying OPI Natural Nail Base Coat (Amazon, $8) on clean square shaped nails.

Step 2: Second, apply two layers of OPI Embrace the Grey (Ulta, $9.50) from the 50 Shades of Grey collection.

Step 3: Next, apply OPI Shine for Me (Ulta, $9.50)  — also from the 50 Shades of Grey collection — to nail tips.  For shorter nails, dab on with small dashes.  For longer nails, sweep in a straight line.

Step 4: To finish off, apply a thin layer of OPI RapiDry Quick-Dry Top Coat (Ulta, $13.95).

Step 5: Enjoy — and look fabulous!
