Deck of Scarlet is extending their Singles Collection with the launch of seven decadent matte shadows today -- and they pair perfectly with any skin tone.
The collection, which is now available on the Deck of Scarlet website, features a mix of cool and warm-toned matte shadows that will leave you breathless. But what we love most about this new collection is that in addition to being paraben-free and cruelty-free, they’re all custom-blended to suit a range of different looks and complexions.
These blendable mattes are also super-versatile and are designed to complement metallic eyeshadows (such as the Deck of Scarlet Foil Collection) so you can easily switch your usual daytime look into a daringly bold evening look, without missing a beat.
“Over the last few months, we called in our entire team of beauty experts to weigh in on payoff, blendability, and texture, and we’re incredibly pleased with the results. I love the velvety consistency and how they compliment my skin color,” says Deck of Scarlet co-founder, Rachel ten Brink Rio. She further explains, “Having been born and raised in Costa Rica, it’s not only important to me that our makeup can be worn by any woman of color, but also that it provides women with the perfect foundation to stay within the sophisticated mattes shades or have the confidence to step outside their comfort zone and be bold and bright with their choices.”
Each of the Deck of Scarlet Matte Shadows stays true to their “digital roots” with names like, Soft Filter, Good Angle, IRL, Throwback, Buzz, Selfie, and Zoom In. Having adopted the influencer community as an extension of their own, the brand always collaborates with top beauty influencers and makeup artists, including Roxette Arisa, Melly Sanchez, Nazanin Kavari, and others to create unique looks with their own personal spin.
Celebrity makeup artist Jared Lipscomb, who has been a fan of the makeup brand since its launch, says, “I love, love how easily this new line blends. It’s not patchy or uneven and looks so flawless. I also really like the color selection. There are a few fun shades to create unique looks, but this line is full of neutral tones that are absolutely necessary in creating beautifully defined eyes.” Jared has already tested out the Deck of Scarlet Matte Singles line on starlets, Kristen Doute and Brittany Cartwright at this past Sunday’s iHeart Radio Awards.
