Gabrielle Ruiz from CW’s comedy-drama series Crazy Ex-Girlfriend gave us fall vibes with her flawless look at Latina's Hollywood Hot List party last week in Los Angeles. The Mexican-American beauty was simple with a touch of pop plum lip. From hair to makeup, she was glamourous and red-carpet ready.

Makeup artist Kai was responsible for Ruiz's cosmetic slay-age, which was very soft and light in a pretty nude tone. “We decided to bring color and definition into her face. So with defined eyes haloed by lashes, a plum purple lip was the perfect compliment to her eyes and especially her creamy pinky nude lace dress,” said Kai.

Below, the artist breaks down Ruiz's look so you can try it for yourself.

MAKEUP

- First, I started with the MAKE UP FOR EVER Cosmetics Foundation Powder URTLA HD Foundation.

- Then, I applied the SURRATT BEAUTY Brow Pencil in brunette, which gave her full and elegant eyebrows.

- Next, I used MAC COSMETICS Eye-shadows in saddle, Swiss chocolate and embark. To enhance her look, I used BENEFIT Cosmetics in They're Real Mascara along with House Of Lashes in Boudoir.

- To set the look up with lips, I used MAC COSMETICS' retro matte liquid lipcolour in "Oh, Lady"

HAIR

There is no surprise that Ruiz came with her glam squad ready to crush the red carpet. As for hair, celebrity hairstylist Igor Sanaev said, “I believe when it comes to up-dos, nothing is sexier than a big mess,” which he used both Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray and Superfine Hairspray to achieve this effortless look.

Then he created a bun in the lower back section of her hair of ponytail hooks, and simply arranged the rest of the hair around that knot. To keep the shine all night, he also used Wella Professional’s Mirror Polish Shine Serum.

Keep your eye on this beauty, because she is Hollywood's next IT girl.
