Does This Really Work? Organic Body Sugar

Scrubbing your body is important to slough off dead skin cells and maintain smooth, healthy skin. I recently came across Urban Sugarbaby Whipped Cream Body Scrub ($25), which looks more like a garden experiment with crushed seeds and dried flowers than a body exfoliator. When I opened the tub, it revealed the sweetest smell that made me want to lick it. The natural formula is made with organic pure cane sugar, brown sugar, apricot oil and virgin coconut cream, so you can imagine the amazing scent. I didn’t eat it, but you know I had to use it.

It comes with a shell to scoop the product out, which scared me at first because it looked like an unrecognizable brown object peeking out from under the sugar. After using the scrub a few times, I can say the granules are small and don’t feel harsh at all. It feels a little greasy in the beginning because the flower petals are soaked in the oils. This becomes lather once you add water, though. My skin is always soft and moisturized right after I use this product. It's like a luxurious spa experience, including great exfoliation at home and on a budget!
