The Stars Who Nailed It at the Latin Grammys

At this year’s Latin Grammy Awards there were plenty of gorgeous smoky eyes, luscious lips, and flirty lashes—but the manicures stole the beauty spotlight!

Here are the hottest nail trends on four of our favorite stars, plus tips on how to recreate the looks.

1. NAILS: Jennifer Lopez

Nails have been getting longer—a trend Jennifer Lopez shows off with slightly-rounded nails grown just past her fingertips. For a similar look, gently file the corners of your nails into a soft curve, then paint on Nars Nail Polish in Orgasm ($16, sephora.com), a pretty peachy pink with a subtle golden sheen. If your nails need some encouragement to grow, apply a nourishing treatment, like Sally Hansen Continuous Treatment Growth Formula ($9, walgreens.com). Remember to smooth on a cuticle oil daily.

2. NAILS: Natalia Jimenez

Spanish singer Natalia Jiménez opts for a tomato tint—the hottest shade of red this fall. Try Sephora by OPI Nail Colour in High Maintenance ($9, sephora.com).

3. NAILS: Ximena Navarrete

Miss Universe Ximena Navarrete matches her nail color to her nude lips for an eye-catching effect. Paint two coats of sheer neutral, like Essie Nail Polish in Pillow Talk ($8, essie.com). Finish with a high-shine top coat.

4. NAILS: Jasmin Lopez

Jasmin Lopez goes all out, decorating her extra-long square black tips with wavy white stripes. Achieve this with a nail art pen, like Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen in White ($7.29, drugstore.com). Add multi-colored crystals from your local craft store, or if you’re really serious, get a rhinestone wheel kit full of different colors on amazon.com for $14. For more of an everyday look with a similar effect, try a multi-colored glitter polish, like Deborah Lippmann Nail Lacquer in Happy Birthday ($18, deborahlippmann.com).
