Little Blanca Nieve

As you can see, Dessa was Snow White for Halloween.  You won't find a picture of Farrah in costume because there isn't one.  A costume, I mean. Our poor second child had to settle for a creative ensemble of leopard print sweater and beret—a chic French baby or  a whiskerless leopard, perhaps? Call it what you want but the bottom line is we didn't get her a costume. I couldn't find Dessa's piggy costume from her first Halloween and didn't have enough time to shop for a coordinating costume, so I gave in and said to heck with it.

I feel bad sometimes because I think Farrah isn't getting the same attention Dessa got.  I strap her on in a baby carrier then go about chasing Dessa around.  To compensate I'm going to spoil the little chunky monkey with the cutest holiday outfit.  Check her out below, I still think she looks cute but I'm her mami.

Hope you all had a great Halloween!

They're both so cute in their costumes! Or "costumes." haha I wouldn't worry about it since it doesn't matter to your baby what she is. It's when they're older that it matters more. Last year my daughter was 2 years old and I dressed her up in her cousin's Minnie Mouse dance recital costume, even though she mentioned she wanted to be a pink kitty. Her (then) one year old brother was dressed in a skeleton hoodie and black pants. They didn't mind at all; they got to do what all the kids were doing so they were content. This year I still had the pink kitty request so I handsewed and put together her costume myself - and I don't sew that well. Perhaps it was my mother's guilt or self penitence that pushed myself to 4am two nights in a row to complete her costume. And I have the needle puncture wounds to prove it! Did I mention I don't sew? As for my son I bought his sock-monkey costume. He wanted to be a monkey and I'm not about to attempt at making up that penitence next year! Both of my kids got tons of compliments on their cute and WARM - mommy's numero uno concern - costumes. But most importantly they had a blast!
They both look adorable! My son as 2 months old on his first Halloween and he had 3 costumes and a Halloween onsie...... This year, his second Halloween, I got lazy and said to hell with it and I just used a hand me down lion costume. It was a little too snug and he wouldn't wear the hat so he looked like he was wearing a shiny gold unitard......He had fun anyway but I still feel guilty. Maybe we will both do better next year in the costume department!
