Jasmine V's Beauty & Boys: "3 Fun Ways to Work Out"

Jasminators! With Summer coming up I know I'm trying to get my body right for the beach and all the other fun outdoor activities. For some reason the gym can seem so boring to me and the treadmill just makes me cringe. But don't worry, I've figured out how to fight the gym blahs. Here are three ways to get a workout while still having fun!

1. Stand Up Paddle: I'm not sure if you have access to a beach or a lake, but if you do you better get your paddle board ready! Caution: stand up paddle is tough. It may look easy but it takes great practice to master it. I went for the first time last summer and it was not only super fun but also a great workout!

2. Hiking: Find a trail and have a blast! Just always make sure you go with people. It's never safe to go alone. Hiking can be a great way to talk and spend time with your friends or even your boo. You can go online and find places in your area that have hiking trails. Most state parks will have places to hike. It will also tell you on the site how hard the hike will be. Make sure you don't pick one that's too hard and will have you totally out of breath, haha. I always like to bring a lil' backpack with the essentials like water, a energy bar and my cell phone. Don't forget to bring your camera so you can snap those pics in the beautiful background. If you bring a good friend to chat with, before you know it you will realize you are done with your hike and you got a great workout!

3. Swimming: Swimming is probably the best workout you can get. The good thing about swimming is that you are under water so you won't get sweaty! The ideal place to go swimming is a lap pool. That way you can keep better track of how many laps you do and there won't be people in your way. Even swimming in the ocean is a great work out and thats also super fun when there's small waves :)
