Miracle Cleansing Wipes
Miracle Cleansing Wipes
I'm a latecomer to TLC’s far-too-real reality show, Jon & Kate Plus Eight. And that’s made the marital troubles of Jon and Kate Gosselin all the more sad to me. As I sit on my sofa at midnight watching re-runs, I see a normal crazed-yet-loving couple raising twins and sextuplets. Over the years there were sweet moments between the two (Valentine’s Day? Hello!), kind hugs and soft words spoken at night while their kids were asleep; and then today there is the news of their divorce. I admit it, I cried during their very special one-hour announcement episode. I talked on the phone with my friend until midnight about it, my dirty Blackberry screen glued to my face by force of dried, sticky tears. Gross.
And then I got up and had to clean myself up. Rather than wash my face again, I used Dr. Brandt Blemishes No More Cleansing Pads ($25 for 60 pads, drbrandtskincare.com). They are miraculous; the quilted circles wipe away leftover makeup, grime, grease and tears, while zapping bacteria and moisturizing skin. If only they could miraculously wipe away the grime of a marriage gone bad so one could start afresh.
