If you ever wanted to be one of the cool kids, then Saturday night at The Highline Room at The Standard Hotel in NYC was your check-in point. To the tunes of DJ Chelsea Leyland and notable guest, rapper Vinny Cha$e, accessory designer Alejandro Ingelmo debuted his Fall/Winter 2013 collection to a full room - so full that Latina couldn't even get a chance to speak to the Cuban-American!
The ever-so-popular designer is a favorite amongst editors, stylists and anyone who is anyone. Clearly, we see why. His new collection is a sleek and innovative combination that harbors on the edge of rebellion while still keeping a sense of sophistication. A light installation, courtesy of artist Ivan Navarro, complimented the neon and plexi-glass display boxes custom designed by Ingelmo himself, thus proving that his craft can extend beyond just awesome accessories. We hope it's just another indication of what else we can expect from this young Latino designer in the future!
