I know that we all feel overworked sometimes, and find it challenging to juggle demands, children, jobs and everything we may have going on in our lives.
Trust me… you aren’t alone. I’m with you. And, I’m sure you have NO TIME to work out.
It’s tough to have a work/life balance and I wanted to give you all three tips to building more balance to your daily routine in order to find time to work out.
Here are three ways to bring a little more balance to your daily routine:
1. Set Your Alarm Early!
I don’t know about you, but I have to work out in the mornings. I’m not telling you to skip out on extra sleep, but if you work out early in the mornings, you can then cross your workout off your list and not have to think about it for the rest of the day! Ever thought about wearing your workout clothes to bed? Just a thought.
2. Lunch Break Workout!
If a morning workout is just impossible, what about during lunch? You don’t have to do anything strenuous. What about a walk around the building?
3. Work out with the kiddos!
I know some of you may have toddlers or children under the age of 10. What about taking them to work out with you? If you have toddlers, you can invest in a jogging stroller, or you can use the baby carrier and work on squats.
Try to squeeze in any time that you have because when you aren’t active your energy level goes down. Personally, I need my energy level in order to concentrate. Put everything aside and take time for YOU!
Keep in mind, you only live once!
