What better way to celebrate National Cognac Day than by whipping up an elegant cocktail using Courvoisier Cognac?

French brandy Courvoisier boasts a selection of 13 marques which can be drank solo or stirred flawlessly into a delicious cocktail. Interestingly, Courvoisier was the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte’s drink of choice in the 1800’s, and it's often dubbed “the Cognac of Napoleon.”

Negroni Française

1 1/2 part Courvoisier® VSOP

1/2 part Campari

1/2 part Sweet Vermouth

2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Directions: Combine the VSOP, Campari and Vermouth in a shaker over ice. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice and add bitters. Garnish with an orange slice.
