5 Reasons to Pamper Yourself During Spa Week

Chicas, be honest: when was the last time that you let yourself be truly pampered? If you're anything like me, then your busy life of work, family and friends usually takes up all the time you have--leaving very little time to take care of yourself. That's why when I was offered the chance to try a coconut milk body scrub at New York City's Allure Day Spa, I jumped at the chance.

In honor of the upcoming Spa Week, which runs from October 14-20th and offers $50 spa and wellness treatments, I've realized that there are 5 very good reasons why every Latina needs to pamper herself. Trust me, we deserve it!

1. Body Scrubs Leave You Feeling Heavenly: When the technician started to rub me down with the coconut milk body scrub, I couldn't believe how amazing it felt. Although I've had massages before, I've never tried a body scrub before and my post-summer dry skin could definitely use it. I felt rejuvinated from head to toe and my skin was almost baby soft. It was an incredible feeling and I honestly can't imagine why I never had one before.

2. It's Not a Bad Way to Save Money: At just $50 per treatment, this is one of the best deals around. We all know that spa treatments don't come cheap and, well, if you're going to do it anyway, why not save some money? Spa Week is a great time to take advantage of the discounts, maybe discover a new favorite, try a treatment you've always wanted to try, and more. And it's coming soon! Book your treatments here.
