RAQ-C’s World: How to Look & Feel Like a Million Bucks From the Inside Out

Hey chicas it’s me RAQ-CI’m so excited to be blogging for Latina.com!

I hope you will join me every week as I give you advice & tips on everything you need to know on how to be a FABULOUS modern day Latina. I will be writing about everything from relationships, career, health, to spirituality, and so much more.

But before I say more, in a few words let’s define what it means to be a modern day Latina: A woman who lives an all around balanced life; A woman that wears many crowns & does it with grace! 

My first blog is going to be about how to feel like a million bucks from the inside out. I hope my advice helps you bring out the inner goddess in you!

The first most IMPORTANT quality you must possess is confidence. Confidence is the best accessory anyone can rock. Truly understanding that you are unique & one of a kind is so important. No one in the world has your DNA but you. Be confident with who you are and the gifts you have to share with the world. Don’t be afraid to be YOU!

The second most important accessory you can rock at anytime is a million dollar smile. Recent studies have shown the simple act of smiling can actually help lower your heart rate & stress levels. How amazing & simple to do is that? I highly suggest you SMILE even when you don’t want to, it reassures you that everything is going to be okay and triggers happy thoughts! Remember, it takes more muscles to frown than to smile. 

Another thing that gets me feeling right is drinking lots of water throughout the day. Besides keeping myself hydrated it keeps me flowing and if you didn’t know staying hydrated keeps your eyes moist, drains your sinuses, helps your stomach with the digestion process and it keeps you glowing. I don’t know about you but I love to GLOW!

Another tip I have for you is to pick up a book & read. Nourish your brain. I read at least one book per month and sometimes I even read three books at a time. I LOVE TO READ! Reading helps improve your vocabulary, gives you tranquility, makes you smarter & reduces your stress. It also allows you to get lost in fantasyland sometimes. LOL! Those are all positive habits we can strive to develop so stop thinking about it & just do it.

And last but not least: Make good eating choices! I’ve never believed in dieting but I do believe in nourishing my body with healthy food. Since the beginning of the year I have been incorporating more greens into my daily meals and not only do I feel lighter but I’ve already lost 6lbs. Be aware of what you eat. If you want results you must do things differently! Do what works for you and remember: its progress not perfection.

I hope my tips and advice help you get on the road to feeling like a million bucks. After all you have what it takes to be fabulous and you are definitely worth feeling good from the inside out.
