I am obsessed this necklace’s vintage-inspired vibe. And with all the cold, snowy weather we've been having on the East Coast, the best thing about this jewelry is that it conjures up thoughts of warm, blue ocean water and leisurely days on the beach. That alone makes it worth the $42.

Getting a Christmas gift for my thirty-something older sis is always easy. This year, I thought I’d get her a handbag, but not just any kind—the small type of treasure you only dust off for elegant affairs: weddings, etc. At bcbg.com, I found a champagne-colored, pleated, satin wristlet for $68. Best of all, I know she’ll let me borrow it once in a while!

Have you been able to avoid those Scarlett Johansson Mango ads? I haven’t; they’re everywhere. Not that I mind them—she looks stunningly gorgeous and impossibly cool in them, and they reminded me that it’d been a while since I checked out mango.com. Along the way, I found the cutest jacket ever, the black Bolero Marbella, for $79!

With every fabulous outfit must come the right, bold accessory. And I usually only do one statement piece, whether it’s earrings, necklace, or bracelet (I never wear them all at once). So I spotted this $74 fringe-and-cluster pearl bracelet, which is the perfect marriage of traditional and modern styles from J Crew. Isn’t it purdy?

You know how clothes with sequins can sometimes fit weird? Well, that’s not the case with my new, $64 black sequin detail dress by Wal G, available only on topshop.com. It even has a cute bow on the back, to ensure the best fit! Can you picture a more perfect LBD for the holidays?

Sweater vests can be confusing. I mean, how do you wear one without looking like an 1970s-era librarian? And yet, this Loft Biker Vest ($89.50) has a comfy appeal without being too casual. Details, like the textured neck flaps and waist tie definitely take this in a way more modern direction.

Just because winter is basically upon us doesn’t mean we have to succumb to warm but un-cute hats and mittens. This BaroqueAndRoll hat sold on Etsy.com ($58) takes the menswear-inspired trend and gives it the girlie treatment. Bring on the chill!

Not a big fan of lace but realize the trend is starting to appear everywhere? A simple and chic top like this Banana Republic Silk Lace-Print top ($70) has the suggestion of lace, but isn’t over-the-top or sheer like you might expect. In other words, very un-lingerie-like.
