To my delight, I read somewhere that mustard-colored pants are in this
season. I’ve always liked the color, but stayed away from it
because that particular shade isn’t very flattering on me. However, when I
tried on these
Gap cords (gap.com;
$54.50), I realized this color looks great as long as I keep it away from my face.

How fun is this skirt?! It’s probably one of the most versatile pieces—along with a black blazer—you can have in your closet this
season. There’s so much to love about this party number: the comfy
elastic waistband, the exposed zipper, the silhouette and the pockets.
There’s one more thing. It only costs $28 at lulus.com!

Waterfall cardigans are all the rage this fall, and they're perfect for the in-between temperatures we all have to suffer through at this time of year. So why not pick up this versatile Iron Bamboo Draped Jacket by LINQ ($98, www.chickdowntown)? The super soft wrap comes in this go-with-everything gray color you can dress up for the office, or down for the weekends!

I love, love, love this blue plaid Wool-blend Shrunken Blazer from the Gap ($98, gap.com). I can totally see it paired with a simple white t-shirt, slouchy jeans, a pair of kick ass cage heels and a chunky necklace. Nail this punk rock school girl look and find yourself at the head of the class in no time!

I ain't saying I'm a gold digger, but I really love this layered gold chain necklace by Kenneth Jay Lane Jewelry ($60, gilt.com). Multiple gold chains look great over simple tanks and t-shirts. They add that extra
oomph to your outfit without messing with the comfort factor. Plus, it's on sale
for 50% off the original price so you'll have time to run around town and find
ways to burn through the rest of his—um, I mean your—cash (wink, wink).

I am of the opinion that you can't really get any sexier than a sweater dress. I discovered this merino wool turtlneck sweater dress at Victoria's Secret ($78, victoriassecret.com) and I had to snap it up. The side ruching hides little imperfections and it comes in a variety of traffic stopping colors.

I’m a Jessica Simpson fan. Openly. I didn’t even think she looked that bad in the mommy jeans. And when it comes to her fashion lines, the girl just keeps getting better and better. Check out these Parigi pointed-toe heels ($89). Sheer hotness, just like my girl.

Oh, fall. You’re the perfect excuse for me to buy some new jackets (even though I haven’t outgrown the ones I bought last year). I’m loving this Runaway cropped polyester jacket with asymmetrical zippers from BCBG ($80). Amazingly, the sleeves snap off and the jacket transforms into an edgy vest! Talk about versatile.

It’s time for a new handbag. But isn’t it always? I was reading InStyle over the weekend as I was getting a pedi, and there was this whole page devoted to Tod’s G bag. Apparently, it’s a chameleon and can work day and night, for work or play. That’s the kind of thing I need, I thought. Except I don’t want to take out a second mortgage for it. So I went on to the Aldo’s to find an alternative and found this gray beauty, dubbed the Adrano. Best part?
