Jennifer Lopez is All Over the Small Screen

Live from New York it’s . . . Jennifer Lopez! Yes, that’s right, on Feb. 27 Mrs. Marc Anthony will be the host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live. The Bronx-born Boricua first appeared on SNL in 2001, back when Will Ferrel, Tracy Morgan and Chris Kattan were still in the cast and she was dating Chris Judd. That same year, J.Lo had the number one album and movie in the same week.

My, how times have changed. All those comedians have moved on to better things and our girl, who is now 40, is a mother of twins. She’s returning to the sketch comedy series to promote her upcoming movie, The Back-Up Plan, and album, Love? (both out in April) in the hopes of scoring two simultaneous hits again.

Lopez is also set to appear on the CBS comedy How I Met Your Mother in March. She’ll play a self-help relationship guru who teaches women how to trick men into committing. And if all goes as planned, she may even sign on to play a cafeteria worker in Glee. Time to program those DVRs, people!
