Wisin & Yandel Deal with Death for Latest Video

Reggaetoneros Wisin & Yandel have mastered the art of the music video while working in front of the lens of Dominican director Jessy Terrero. Their latest production is more of a dramatic short film loaded with tension, suspense, flashbacks and a well-chosen cast.
The video is for the song “Imagínate” from the act’s album La Evolución and it entangles Wilmer Valderrama, Paula Garces and Amaury Nolasco in a love triangle that has a fatal outcome. Wisin & Yandel take supporting roles, along with their newest collaborator T-Pain, who provides the English language hooks.
“T-Pain is one of our favorite artists, and we support him in everything he does,” Yandel told MTV News. And the feeling is mutual. “They wanted to do something with me, and I wanted to do something with them. And I think it worked out great,” said the hip-hop artist.
Who wouldn’t want to work with the dynamic duo? They keep accumulating award nominations. They’re up for three Latin Grammys at this Thursday’s ceremony and an American Music Award for Favorite Latin Artist on Nov. 22. Good luck, guys!
