On last night Billboard Latin Music Awards, the Fast and Furious actor made a surprise appearance during the Puerto Rican singer’s performance. The reggeatonero, who took the stage to perform his latest single “El Amante,” shocked fans when he invited Diesel to join him. “Now I’m making movies with Vin Diesel,” the singer said before the 49-year-old actor began rapping.

Jam, who took home six awards out of the nine he was nominated, made his big screen debut in Vin‘s film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage, last year. The two have remained friends since starring in the movie together. In an interview with Billboard, the 36-year-old singer admitted he would love to make music with his co-star. "Vin Diesel is crazy, and when I say crazy, I mean it in a good way," Jam said. "He's crazy about Latinos and he's not even a Latino. He even wants to speak Spanish. I told him we should do a song together and he said he was shy. But I said, 'I'm no actor, but I'm acting in front of you. I wasn't scared.'"

This isn’t the first time Diesel has hit the stage on the Latin award show. Back in 2013, he and co-star Michelle Rodriguez made a surprise appearance at the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards. The actors promoted their film, Fast & the Furious 6, while presenting an award to their Fast Five co-star, Don Omar. Of course, Diesel took the opportunity to show off his Spanish skills, where he even blurted “coño."
