It's the summer of J-Rod, which means the couple has already gotten the families together for pooltime and jetted off to Paris together. But unluckily for Rodriguez, the MLB star is hilariously getting mistaken for Lopez's bodyguard.
Rodriguez appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he spilled on what it's like to be arm-in-arm with the singer on a daily basis. "This is like one of the most humbling experiences of my life," he said. "When I was in the [New York] Yankees and we won the world championship and you wear the pinstripes, you think you're pretty cool. But then you hang out with Jennifer and they confuse me with the security guard all the time!" He continued by discussing the time they were at the Met Ball and the paparazzi was screaming at the 41-year-old athlete. "'Get the hell out of the way, get out of the way, we want to take a picture!'" they said to him.
Rodriguez also discussed his summer plans, which will be big, considering it's his first time off in years. "This is my first summer I have off since I was probably 10 or 15 years old but it's my first summer off with my two daughters...and we're just having a great time," he said.
