Jenni Rivera's daughter recently appeared on the cover of, where she was referred to as "The New Chiquis." The 28-year-old Mexicana showed off a brand-new figure after shedding 30 pounds in eight weeks. "People would say I was gordita," said Chiquis. "Yes, I had a little chubby girl in my heart, and she's still with me, but like I always say: 'It's time for you [the gordita] to take a break.'"
The 33-year-old "Queen of all Media" revealed the secret to his incredible weight loss to SHAPE magazine late last month. "Like so many people, I have struggled with my weight throughout my entire life," Hilton said. "Thankfully though, at the beginning of 2008, I made a commitment to my health and I have stuck to it."
He continues, "Nearly four years later and I am in the best shape of my life! I’ve lost more than 70 pounds and I’ve worked for it. I’ve done it the old-fashioned way, slow and steady, by eating healthily and exercising regularly. And I feel wonderful!"
The 32-year-old singer's much slimmer figure at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards created tons of buzz on Twitter. Aguilera is so stranger to harsh criticism about her weight, which has fluctuated throughout the years. In Marie Claire’s February 2012 cover issue, Aguilera said “I've been criticized for being on both sides of the scale” and added that she happened to be “very comfortable” in her own skin. The singer of Ecuadorian descent also told PEOPLE in 2012 that “as long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all that is all the confirmation I need." We love it.
After rapper Fat Joe lost about 100 pounds in 2011, he looked more like Medium-Sized Joe to us. The Bronx-bred Boricua had been trying to lose weight on and off for about a decade. “The number one way to lose weight is to educate yourself on what’s harming you and what’s not harming you,” he said during an interview with VLAD TV. The bigger half of Univision’s El Gordo y la Flaca lost more than 60 pounds back in 2007, even writing a book about his weight loss journey. Titled La Dieta del Gordo [Gordo’s Diet], the TV co-host details his nutrition and exercise tips, and willpower. “People ask me all the time, what did I do to lose weight,” De Molina said during a book presentation in Miami, “Some congratulated me and that encouraged me to keep going. I also had the help of my wife and daughter, who helped form all of this.”
The former Jersey Shore star no longer looked like a “meatball” after losing 42 pounds earlier this year. The 25-year-old reality TV star mentioned her fiancé Jionni LaValle as one of her main motivations to shed unwanted additional weight. “I basically try to go to the gym all the time and train with my trainer and do cardio as much as possible." So, no more meatball – more like lean meat.
There was a time when the Boricua reggeatonero was pudgy – the cute pudgy reggaetonero we all love! A year ago, El Cangri decided to turn his life around and dropped about thirty pounds after developing a much healthier lifestyle. Note: he’s still the reggaetonero we all love.
If you remember, Nicole Richie was a bit rounder (and pudgier) during her time with former bestie Paris Hilton on the reality TV show The Simple Life. Now, the fashion designer’s figure is much more svelte.
