Freddie Prinze Jr. totally gets that the way to a woman’s heart is through food.
The actor's new cookbook, Back to the Kitchen, features over 100 recipes inspired by his Puerto Rican heritage and upbringing in New Mexico. But one of them stands out as the ultimate recipe for love. In fact, he made it for one woman and she fell head over heels for him.
“I actually once made lobster with sauce that changed an actress completely—she fell in love with me to the point that it was creepy,” Prinze told Bon Appétit. That’s in the cookbook too. It was too dangerous to keep to myself.
No word if that mystery actress was the actor’s wife, Sarah Michelle Gellar, but we he did cooked up a special recipe for her back when she was pregnant.
“The nicer one is that I made a New Mexico chile-spiced chicken dish for my wife when she was pregnant, because the doctor recommended more spice in her diet.”
