Most athletes (and anyone at the top of their game) have to give up something to be the best. And Gisele Bündchen’s New England Patriot MVP husband, Tom Brady, is no exception to this rule. Brady tells fans this hard truth in the forthcoming film Tom vs. Time.
Tom vs. Time is a six-part documentary created by filmmaker Gotham Chopra (shout out to the Boston home team) and available via Facebook Watch. Chopra gets unprecedented access to the quarterback, who has spent 18 seasons with the Super Bowl championship-winning Patriots. In the trailer for the Tom vs. Time, viewers see the football star at chilling at home with his family, working out along with his model wife, and performing on his beloved football field. Brady, 40, is still at the top of his game, so why should he retire from something that only loves and still does so well? And according to Brady, he does “it better than I’ve ever done it.”
One of the most powerful quotes from the clip speaks to his level of commitment to the sport. “If you're going to compete against me, you'd better be willing to give up your life, because I'm giving up mine.”
The Brazilian model took to Instagram to promote the film with the caption: "My hubby being honest about who his first love really is: FOOTBALL!"
The airdate for Tom vs. Time has not been announced.
