- Kat Von D may have a new man in her life, reports Fox News Latino. She has been spotted getting cozy with Toronto DJ, Deadmau5 (Joel Zimmerman). Adding to our suspicion, Joel has also posted several cute pictures of the two on Twitter.
Just a few months ago, the tattoo artist was reportedly in a relationship with British rapper, Scroobius Pip. Word is that they broke up recently, which leaves a single Kat ready to mingle!
- Note to all baseball players out there, don’t try and pull this fast one. Toronto Blue Jays athlete, Yunel Escobar, was suspended from the team after writing an offensive anti-gay slur on his face while playing against Boston over the weekend.
During a press conference yesterday, the Cuban player apologized to his team and “to all those who have been offended.” He also said, “It was not something I intended to be offensive. It was not anything intended to be directed at anyone in particular.”
His salary during suspension, a reported $82,000, will be donated to the You Can Play and Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. We hope he learned his lesson!
- Jessica Alba is making sure she teaches her eldest daughter, Honor, about the value of giving back. “I talk to Honor about not wasting and recycling. I talk to her about having so many things and that there are children out there who don’t have what she has,” Jessica said at SELF magazine's Women Doing Good Awards.
The 31-year-old actress, who launched The Honest Company earlier this year, encourages her child to donate and help others. “So when she is done playing with something or outgrows something, it goes to a baby who doesn’t have it,” she said. What an amazing mami, no?
