Aww, they grow up so fast.
Moroccan and Monroe, the 7-month-old twins of part-Venezuelan songstress Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon, have begun to talk. Or more like babble. It’s all baby talk anyway… we know how that is!
The 31-year-old proud father spoke to Us Weekly recently about his babies’ conversation flow. “They say words, they do!” the comic said. Not too many words, though, Cannon clarified. “Just mamma, dadda, and babba. That's it!” How freakin’ adorable.
Moroccan and Monroe, who are best known as “Dem Babies,” already have their own website, so maybe once they learn to say more than “mamma” and “dadda,” we will soon see the babies upload videos of themselves talking? We’re joking of course – but really, that would be super cute!
We’re sure Carey is equally as excited as her hubby about the babies talking. The 41-year-old new mami is looking better than ever, after revealing a slimmer, svelte figure on the cover of Us Weekly last month. Carey had a very difficult pregnancy; in an interview with Barbara Walters back in October for ABC’s 20/20, the singer said she was afraid she wasn’t going to be able to talk properly again. “It was a huge strain,” Carey told Walters. “I would sit and then someone would need to help me up. I couldn’t even go to the loo by myself.”
Still, the pain was worth it. “Its just love,” Carey said of her family. “It’s a beautiful place to be.”
