The beauty queen apparently broke her contract according to the Latin Times. While there are no specifics as to exactly what Morán did wrong, but Carlos Rivera, director of Carimaxx told La Prensa that “She did whatever she felt like doing” and thought “She’s the boss.”

However, Morán is telling a different side of the story. She posted a statement to El Heraldo, describing an incident in New York City where Rivera and another male verbally and physically attacked her. There’s also an audio recording where you can hear her say that “this man hit me.”

Rivera commented on the accusations, saying that the NYC meeting was strictly business. Apparently Morán began breaking her contact and he wanted to “help her out.”
