While it may be cuffin’ season for some, since Thanksgiving weekend in West Virginia (and even before that) it’s been uncuffin’ season for Naya Rivera and actor hubby Ryan Dorsey. According to E! News, Dorsey told police that the Sorry Not Sorry author hit him in the face and on the head. Apparently, he had minor injuries when the police arrived, and there was a video. Police arrested Rivera for allegedly assaulting her spouse of three years.

Dorsey took to Twitter to ask for compassion during this challenging time. “This isn’t some reality show, this is our life, and I ask that everyone, especially the media please respect our privacy and treat us/this situation how you would want a loved one to be treated,” he tweeted.

The two were on shaky ground before this incident, and Rivera had previously filed for divorce in 2016, but sources close to the camp say they wanted to work on their love thing for the sake of their son Josey, 2. E! News also confirmed that the Glee alum requested a “dismissal” of divorce in October.
