Prosecutors say the former Power Rangers actor allegedly stabbed his roommate in the abdomen with a sword multiple times, after an argument over Medina's girlfriend got heated. Entertainment Weekly reports that after the attack, it was Medina who called 911 to their apartment and waited for police to arrive to the scene.

Medina is expected to return to court on October 20.
