Just call Ryan Gosling the anti-Scrooge.
The actor can't wait for Christmas with his family — especially Eva Mendes and his daughters are such dreams. "Eva's the dream mother, and they're dream babies, and it’s like a dream that I’m having right now," he told GQ. "I’m dreaming it all. When you meet your kids you realize that they deserve great parents. And then you have your marching orders and you have to try and become the person that they deserve."
On Friday, the gushing continued for Gosling when he stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk all things Christmas. Gosling explained that his daugters, Esmerelda, 2, and Amada, 7 months, may still be a little young for all the hype of Santa and presents. "It's a real sweet spot," he said, referring to the idea that he and Mendes can give their older daughter just about anything, and she'll be content.
As for Mendes, Gosling wasn't so quick to spill on what he'll be putting under the tree for her. Instead, the actor suggests that his family get a "Roomba for their Roomba" – AKA, another robotic cleaning device for their house.
"I feel bad for it because it works tirelessly and at night I can hear it cleaning and I just feel bad for it," he joked.
Instead of keeping Gosling stumped on what to get his wife, DeGeneres offers some suggestions, such as Ryan Gosling leggings, Ryan Gosling fake nails, or a Ryan Gosling coloring book. "I need to take a good look at my life choices that led me to that," he said, in response to the somewhat creepy products.
