There’s really no need to conduct research. It’s more of a simple fact: Venezuela is a hotbed of hotness. But if you’re a numbers-person, here’s some proof. The South American country ranks second in the world for the most Miss Universe titles with six, second only to the United States. But Venezuela actually has the most Miss World titles with six, while the U.S. only has three. But there’s plenty of beauty to be found beyond the world of pageants—everywhere from television and film to music and sports. Here’s a look at the sexiest Venezuelans in Hollywood.

Juan A. Baptista, 36
Venezuela’s beautiful women may get the bulk of the attention, but that doesn’t mean there’s a shortage of handsome men in the country. Juan A. Baptista is a perfect (ten) example! The Venezuelan actor, model and photographer has been making women’s hearts flutter for years with starring roles in telenovelas like Mi destino eres tú, Pasión de Gavilanes and La Marca Del Deseo.
Fernando Carrillo, 43
It’s nice to see Fernando Carrillo, who reached telenovela superstar status after his swoon-worthy role opposite Thalía in the 1999 Mexican telenovela Rosalinda, returning to the genre this year in La Magia Del Amor. After all, the Venezuelan hottie wasn’t afraid to show off his perfectly sculpted body for the cameras in a speedo, jeans sans shirt or completely desnudo in the shower, making him the genre’s first real pin-up boy back in the 1990s, well before William Levy came onto the scene. And at 43, Carrillo still looks FINE!

It’s no surprise Majandra Delfino starred in the sci-fi series Roswell… The Venezuelan actress/singer has a beauty that’s out of this world! One look at Delfino, who gave birth to her first child with husband David Walton last summer, and you’ll be singing Katy Perry’s “E.T.” “You’re from a whole ‘nother world, a different dimension. Marieh Delfino, 35
Majandra Delfino isn’t the only knockout in her family. Her older sister Marieh Delfino is a beaut as well. The Venezuelan actress, who will be reprising her Jeepers Creepers 2 role as Rhonda Truitt in Jeepers Creepers 3: Cathedral later this year, has her sister’s same sex appeal.

Ivian Sarcos, 23
It’s probably difficult to stand out in the crowd of Venezolana beauty queens hoping to represent their country at the Miss World pageant. But that’s exactly what Ivian Sarcos did back in 2010. Not only did she win the title of Miss World Venezuela, pageant organizers also gave her the Most Beautiful Face award. Sarcos, who became an orphan after her parents died when she was only 8, went on to win the Miss World 2011 title. “This has taught me that life, although it may be bad, doesn’t have to end badly,” said Sarcos at her press conference after winning the crown. “Although I no longer have my parents, it has taught me to be stronger.”

Jesús Alberto Miranda Perez and Miguel Ignacio Mendoza, better known as the Venezuelan duo Chino & Nacho may make sweet pop and merengue music that makes us want to dance the night away. But the “Bebé Bonita” singers also make our hearts skip a beat with their smoldering good looks.
If ever there was a song written for someone to perform… It’s Kelly Clarkson’s “Behind These Hazel Eyes” for Jeremías, whose real name is Carlos Eduardo López Avila. The Venezuelan singer-songwriter not only has a swoon-worthy voice, but he’s also got the striking hazel eyes to make us believe he’s singing the song from the heart to us. Throw in that dimpled chin, and we’re squealing like schoolgirls at a Menudo concert.
