Emotions ran rampant on the night that the verdict was read in the Trayvon Martin murder trial. George Zimmerman was a free man, and for many, this meant the United States’ judicial system allowed a killer to walk away without being held accountable for his actions.

“My heart aches for Trayvon’s family!” Lozada declared via her Twitter page.

Ferrara retweeted messages such as, “Tonight I'm going to allow myself to be bitter, discouraged, outraged &heartbroken. Tomorrow, I will pick myself up and apply to law school.”
And also, “The fundamental danger of an acquittal is not more riots, it is more George Zimmerman’s.”
The Colombian star retweeted,“You may not agree with the verdict, but, please let the justice system take care of it!! No vigilantes.”
The host of The Real instagrammed a quote by Martin Luther King, Jr. which read: “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” Bailon also tweeted a photo of herself wearing a hoodie with a caption that said, “Hoods Up...
“He was right,” tweeted Alonso. “These punks always get away.”
The Love & Hip Hop reality star took to her Twitter to say, “No Justice In Florida at all! Two murders set free and given a clear pass to take a child's innocent life! Another sad day in America!”
Ali displayed a photo of herself wearing a hoodie on the background of her Twitter account and tweeted, “Not guilty? How is this possible?”
“I am so upset,so upset.Heartbroken-my stomach hurts-Completely disgusted -Lord pls help us 2grieve in a healthy way-I pray for your comfort,” she exclaimed via her Twitter.
Lopez called for peaceful reactions in his tweet, “Hope people don't misbehave after hearing this verdict. Pray for the Martin family.”

Rivera, who initially stated that Trayvon Martin's attire was the reason he was killed, shared the following after the verdict,“The Zimmerman acquittal was expected by all who follow me," he tweeted. "What we need now is to tell politicians to keep hands off the justice system.”
He then added, “George Zimmerman is not innocent. He is not guilty. He can still be sued by the Martin family like OJ was sued by the Goldman family.”
