Despite having announced numerous times that they were taking an indefinite break, the Black Eyed Peas will return to the stage this fall—this time for Fergie’s hubby, Transformers actor Josh Duhamel. The group will play a benefit gig organized by Duhamel to help his hometown of Minot, North Dakota. The city suffered greatly from flooding and terrible weather that has ripped through the midwest since June, 2010.

The Black Eyed Peas will perform at the North Dakota State Fair Grandstand on September 3rd with all proceeds going to benefit the Minot Area Community Foundation Recovery Fund, which helps victims left homeless after the natural disaster. In an interview with a North Dakota paper, Duhamel said Minot will always be home to him and it breaks his heart to see the city’s devastation.
