Last week, Lourdes Leon and her diva mamá, Madonna, were spotted touring the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Madonna is Michigan born-and-bred, and formerly attended the Big 10 institution. Now, it looks like her 17-year-old Latina daughter could be following in her footsteps and become a Wolverine!
Stars like Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and Bella Thorne have all expressed a desire to go to college, but put the dream on hold to focus on their careers. We’d love to see these 10 young celebrities step out of the limelight and earn their degrees at one of these universities:

Selena Gomez has opened up about her desire to go to college -- specifically to study journalism at Northwestern University, just outside of Chicago! While she’s put school on hold to focus on her career, hopefully one day Gomez will become a Wildcat! Go ‘Cats!

4. Dream Colleges: Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato: Berklee College of Music
Demi Lovato admitted her life would be very different if she weren’t famous. “I would be attending Berklee College and studying music,” she said. “Also song writing for other people, and directing.” We would love to see Demi take a break from stardom, and spend four years on Berklee’s beautiful Boston campus.
5. Dream Colleges: Becky G
Becky G: The Culinary Institute of America
Who knew Becky G was an amazing cook? Yep! The Mexican-American rapper told Access Hollywood that she would love to go to culinary school. “It’s always good to have a back-up plan...you have to make sure that you go to school,” she said. We suggest The Culinary Institute of America, just north of New York City.

Victoria Justice: University of Southern California
When asked about her college plans, Victoria Justice admitted, “I’m so busy. I don’t have any time to think about college right now. 9. Dream Colleges: David Archuleta
David Archuleta: Brigham Young University
American Idol winner David Archuleta is a devout Mormon who put his music career on hiatus to serve a two-year missionary service in South America. The star of the Fosters admits that she would love to continue with school and study to become an executive producer and writer. The 18-year-old actress lives in Los Angeles now, and we suggest she enrolls at the acclaimed University of California, Los Angeles, so she can pursue her career and her education!
