Ashanti's Abuelito Marched with Martin Luther King Jr.

Ashanti is inspiring people to head to the polls and place their ballot on Tuesday through storytelling. The singer appeared on The Real on Monday and revealed that her abuelito marched with Martin Luther King Jr. for a very important reason.

“He marched down Selma for us to have that opportunity to vote, so that has always been instilled in my entire family,” the star said. “As soon as someone turned 18, that's grandpa, go out there and do what you need to do.”
