Last October everyone was head over heels when rapper Offset proposed to his girlfriend Cardi B onstage with a stunning 8-carat pear-shaped diamond ring. Months later, the couple shocked the public again but for a very different reason.
The Migos rapper was at the center of cheating allegations and, while the Bronx-native confirmed the accusations, Cardi and Offset are still together and engaged. Many people took to social media to criticize the rapper for not breaking things off with her man, with some even calling her a hypocrite.
The Grammy-nominated rapper is Cosmopolitan's April cover girl and she replied to the criticisms she's been getting. In the uncensored interview, she says, "It's like everybody is coming down my neck like, 'Why are you not leaving him? You have low self-esteem.' I don't have low self-esteem." "I know I look good. I know I'm rich, I know I'm talented. I know I could get any man I want—any basketball player, football player. But, I want to work out my sh-t with my man, and I don't got to explain why."
She also alludes to another side of the story that the public might not know about. "It’s not right, what he f-cking did — but people don’t know what I did, ’cause I ain’t no angel.”

The Bodak Yellow rapper also took the opportunity to address her past as a stripper and why it's important for her to always do so. She says, "People say, 'Why do you always got to say that you used to be a stripper? We get it.' Because y'all don't respect me because of it, and y'all going to respect these strippers from now on."
It looks like the pair are moving on from the drama and will be working out their issues in private.
More recently, "Bartier Cardi" was certified gold by the RIAA. Cardi celebrated the accolade with an Instagram and assured her followers that a video would be on the way.
