Demi Lovato is no stranger to tattoos.
The 24-year-old singer went under the needle in a late-night session with celebrity tattoo artist, Bang Bang. The former Disney star got a fierce lion tattoo on her left hand and documented the process via her social media. Although the brunette beauty did not reveal the significance of her new massive body art, we’re pretty sure it's reflective of her own fierceness.
Earlier in the night, the entertainer stunned in a royal blue Zuhair Murad Couture at the TIME 100 Gala. The “Skyscraper” artist received the huge honor of being named one of the magazine's 100 Most Influential People. Lovato was featured on the coveted list thanks to her willingness to open up about her struggles to raise awareness around topics such as mental health, addiction, body image and eating disorders.
“Demi Lovato is a remarkably talented artist and performer. But her courage, honesty and willingness to use her own experiences to help others are what make her a true star,” Ariana Huffington penned in the annual issue.
Lovato took the stage at the TIME 100 Gala, where she sang some of her popular tunes. This year, the singer made the list along with nine other notable Latinos including soccer superstar, Neymar, Colombian president, Juan Manuel Santos, and Pope Francis.
