MORE: Enrique Iglesias Involved In Major Bloody Accident During Mexico Concert

Enrique Iglesias is recovering from reconstructive surgery after slicing his fingers and fracturing a bone in his hand during a recent concert. He suffered the injury after grabbing a drone that was capturing images of the audience.

"His recent surgery lasted longer than expected since the damage ended up being a bit worse than initially assessed," stated his website

The surgery took more time because of the fractured bone that "needed to be corrected in addition to the reconstructive surgery."

The Spanish singer took his injury in stride. After slicing his fingers, Iglesias performed for an additional 30 minutes even though he was advised to end his concert.

Iglesias was initially treated back stage to slow down the bleeding. After ending his concert, he was rushed to Los Angeles to see a specialist.

Iglesias will be recovering from his surgery and will resume his "Sex and Love" tour on July 3.

We hope Enrique makes a full recovery!
