While A-listers took on Hollywood for the Golden Globes, J.Lo visited La Isla del Encanto with the former baseball player on Sunday. Less than four months Hurricane Maria destroyed the tiny island, leaving it powerless, hungry, and in need of aid.
The couple traveled together to launch the Puerto Rico Federally Qualified Health Centers Disaster Recovery Fund. The program is set to boost the work of health centers and give accessible healthcare needs to underprivileged families. To help push the efforts the Bronx-raised star and former Yankee player are partnering with the Hispanic Federation and in conjunction with RCHN Community Health Foundation.
