La La Anthony is feeling stronger than ever thanks to her son.
The Power actress opened up publicly for the first time since her split from Carmelo Anthony. On Sunday, Anthony attended a taping of VH1’s 2nd Annual Dear Mama, where she walked the carpet with her mom and 10-year-old son, Kiyan. La La, who hosted the star-studded event which honors mothers, took to Instagram to pay tribute to her special little guy. “He's the only one who knows what my heart sounds like from the inside #myoneandonly #myeverything,” the 37-year-old captioned the loving photo.
According to People, the Puerto Rican beauty told reporters that her family has helped her find strength through these hard times. “My family. My family is my strength,” she said. “My family and God is my strength. That’s where I’ve always found my strength my entire life, so now would be no different.”
In April, reports stated that the basketball player had knocked up a dancer from a gentleman's club in New York. Just one day after news broke, the La La was seen ringless while attending a Tribeca Film Festival luncheon at Thalassa. Neither Anthony or the Knicks player has spoken about the cheating allegations
The Brooklyn-born star has been staying busy these past weeks. On Monday, the hot momma showed up to her first red carpet since her separation to Melo, at the 2017 Met Gala. The actress stunned in a sheer long sleeve gown by Thai Nguyen Atelier and rocked a high pony-tail. She is also executing producing a docu-series called Goal Diggers, which follows the lives of women in risqué jobs trying to become businesswomen.
