The shirts display a quote from his sonnet, which says, "Love cannot be killed or swept aside ... Now fill the world with music, love and pride." The proceeds will go to Equality Cares in Florida, an organization dedicated to fighting for LGBT rights, and will be donated to the victims of the Orlando shooting.

The shirt was created in collaboration with Broadway Cares and Tee-Rico, using Nightsweats & T-Cells for printing, a company that has been 100 percent staffed with HIV+ employees in the USA for 20 years. The design was created by Jessica Sporn of Montclair, NJ.

On his merchandise page, he also links to the GoFundMe account set up for Orlando victims for those who aren't interested in purchasing a t-shirt. He advertised the t-shirts on his Twitter account on Thursday with a caption saying, "So here's a thing that speaks for itself. I'm very excited about it and it's a way you can help."
