During her InStyle magazine's May 2015 cover interview, Witherspoon dished all about her friendship with the gorgeous Colombiana and working together on set.
“As soon as I met Sofia, I said, ‘I want to make a movie with you.’ I think she’s the next Lucille Ball," the 39-year-old actress said. "She and I together are such a funny thing because we represent two completely different cultures and kinds of women, but we just love each other."
"We laughed so much, Witherspoon continued. "I couldn’t understand what she was saying half the time. She couldn’t understand what I was saying half the time. But we both love cake, clothes, kids and our families.”
Earlier this week, the funny chicas stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to talk about all the shenanigans that went down on set. "She went to the emergency," Vegara told DeGeneres. "I sent her to the emergency room... It was something internal, something with bleeding."
"I thought my appendix had burst," Witherspoon replied, while laughing uncontrollably. "I was pushing [her] too hard and she was like, 'No! Do it real!' and I popped her ovary," Vergara explained.
You can catch Sofia Vergara and Reese Witherspoon on screen together in theaters on May 8!
