You know what they say, "Anything for Selenas."
Just two days before the late Selena Quintanilla will be honored on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, her sister, Suzette Quintanilla, had the honors of helping place the Queen of Tejano's highly-anticipated star. The heartwarming moment was captured on Selena's official Facebook page, which show Suzette holding the phonograph record symbol, which is representative of the beloved singer's impressive musical career.
“They don’t give this honor to everyone, so I’m beyond honored... to be able to participate in the making of it, priceless,” Suzette said.
The star, which will be unveiled on November 3, will be located at 1750 N. Vine Street in front of the Capitol Records building. Suzette will be present to accept the star on the Grammy winner’s behalf. Also in attendance is Eva Longoria and Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti, who will announce November 3 as the official "Selena Day" in the city.
We literally can't wait to see it!
