Sofia Vergara stood up to cancer this past weekend — with a few good friends by her side.
Doctors diagnosed Vergara, 42, with thyroid cancer after they discovered a lump on her throat during a routine check-up 14 years old. Vergara, then 28, had her thyroid removed, and beat the cancer.
She attended the Stand Up To Cancer event in a shirt that proudly declared her survivor status. "They sent me my T-shirt and mine is different than the others," she said of her grey and yellow shirt. "I kind of don't like it, but it is what it is and I'm so happy to be free of cancer and I can come here now and support."
Witherspoon, 38, and Manganiello, 37, joined Vergara at the star-studded telecast, which brought in a whopping $109 million for cancer research.
The Modern Family star shared her love for her Witherspoon, posting a shot sweet shot on Instagram. "Reunited with the beautiful girl in the world!!!" she wrote.
Witherspoon also took to social media to share a sweet picture of her with Vergara and Manganiello. "Sorry I stole your earrings @sofiavergara," she joked.
