Demi Lovato continues on her path towards a healthy and sober life. The X Factor co-judge has been living in a sober living facility for more than a year now, reports TMZ. In 2010, the pop singer dropped out of her Camp Rock tour and spent a few months in rehabilitation at a Chicago treatment center due to a history of emotional and physical issues. She was released in spring 2011.
After leaving rehab, Demi exclusively told Latina, "I still think sometimes that I’m not strong enough and I need extra help. I can’t tell you how many people I have working with me in recovery." She added, "It’s good. It’s positive. [But] it’s a daily battle. Things can still get me down sometimes. But nothing keeps me down.”
Although the 20-year-old star owns a home in Los Angeles, she reportedly prefers the support she gets from the community at the facility.
