The “Dance Again” singer and her infamous curves changed-up the Hollywood norm back when she first hit the scene in the 1990s. Now the 43-year-old star still maintains her shape and looks better than ever.
During her recent cover story for Vogue she expressed, “I'm not a size 0 or 2. I'm not 6-feet-tall like a lot of the models that come around, and I'm like, 'Wow, I'm really short compared to models!' I'm just a regular woman. I wear a size 6. You know, when I eat a little too much over the holidays, maybe a size 8. When I'm in shape, maybe a size 4.”
We love her no matter what size!
The Grey’s Anatomy star is one of our favorite leading women as her strong and nontraditional role as, Dr. Callie. Back in March 2011, the actress spoke to Latina about being a curvy actress in Hollywood. “There’s a whole list of things you could worry about. Are you skinny enough?” She added, “I’ve never been very cookie cutter. If I choose something different from the status quo, it’s my responsibility and my choice to live my life that way.”
The Voice judge has an unshakeable confidence that shines through. The “Fighter” singer spoke about her curves in the latest issue of Lucky magazine. “Actually, the challenge I’ve always had is being too thin, so I love that now I have a booty, and obviously I love showing my cleavage,” said the pop singer.
The Savages actress has always been praised for her amazing curves. She graces the cover of this month’s More, and talks openly about her body image. Salma, who was recently felt-up on the red carpet by director, Oliver Stone, says, “I’m not a skinny girl. I push it. I’m at the limit of chubbiness at all times, but I’m happy at all times.”
The Colombian actress is all about embracing her sexiness and infamous curvas. In her latest interview with Allure, she said, "I don't mind when the boobs get smaller. I don't like when the ass gets smaller. In Latin America, if you don't have a big ass, you're nothing.”
The Real Women Have Curves star has always been embraced for her real-womanly beauty. In an interview with Glamour, she expressed, "I'm a regular-size person. I'm a size 6 or 8, which is totally normal. Sometimes I worry more about losing weight than gaining weight, because this is how people know and accept me. I do feel like if I wanted to get in better shape, there might be a backlash of, 'Why isn't she comfortable with herself anymore?'”
We hope she stays exactly the way she is!
Known for her fit physique, the Girl in Progress star admits that it takes work to keep her body in shape. She covered Marie Claire earlier this year and revealed, "I run four to five times a week, mixing it up among distance running, intervals on a track, and running uphill on a treadmill." What a routine!
