Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are Married!

A source close to Nick Cannon has confirmed exclusively to Latina.com that Cannon and Mariah Carey are married! The couple wed yesterday, April 30, in a small ceremony on an island and it was "very implusive," according to our source. The wedding was attended by a few close friends of the couple, including Da Brat.

Details forthcoming, but we'd like to be the first to say congrats to the happy couple!

UPDATE:

An additional source close to Carey now confirms that the couple married at a home the singer recently purchased in Eleuthera, The Bahamas. "They have been smitten with each other for days, weeks...and she's always had a crush on him," the source tells the New York Post. "There was no pre-nup--there wasn't time," dishes another source.

Carey, 39, and Cannon, 27, have been dating for just under two months, and rumors began to swirl that the couple was engaged when Carey arrived to the April 26 Tribeca Film Festival premiere of her new movie, Tennessee, wearing a huge ring on her left finger. Though speculation arose that the ring previously belonged to Cannon's former fianceé, model Selita Ebanks, People now reports that the rings are not the same.

I love Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon aint so bad himself so whatever makes her happy.It's no secret that when she was married to Tommy Mottola she was'nt as happy as she deserved to be. So hopefully this second time around will be her last.I just wish the duo a fruitfull and love-longlasting days. regards, games

I don't really agree with this marriage. I feel like Nick Cannon is too young for her. I don't understand why he would want to marry someone that is 10 years older than him.

While there was no official word at press time whether Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have actually gotten married, People magazine reported on Friday (May 2) that Bishop Clifford Petty of the National Church of God in Governor's Harbour in the Caribbean island of Eleuthera confirmed that he presided over their wedding. Petty provided no details except to say that he did not give a sermon. regards, concert tickets
